I held the position of Public Prosecutor at the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and was dismissed after being accused of defending the right of a qualified Christian female counselor to assume the post of President of the Administrative Prosecution Authority. I posted several pertinent videos on YouTube shedding light on the matter, including a lecture entitled “Judges: between Dismissal and Immunity”, which was posted on Al Insan Channel. I also addressed the issue in a program entitled “Legitimate Rights”, on Al Tariq Channel.
Given the fact that I took legal action three years ago to appeal the decision to terminate my employment, and that the courts have yet to issue a verdict, I would like to authorize the Organization(Coptic Solidarity) to take the appropriate legal measures, according to the provisions of International Law, and in line with the international conventions ratified by the Egyptian government.
