Advocacy
Realizing Equal Rights for Egypt’s Copts
Coptic Solidarity is the leader in advocacy work on behalf of Copts in Egypt and often partners to support other minorities in the Middle East. We advocate through grassroots campaigns, quiet diplomacy, educating legislators and government officials, as well as hosting an annual conference in Washington, D.C. featuring legislators from US and abroad, and recognized experts from an interdisciplinary perspective on supporting Copts and religious minorities.
Advocacy & Campaigns
We run grassroots campaigns, conduct quiet diplomacy, as well as educate government officials, legislators, media, and the public and lead efforts to achieve equal citizenship rights for Copts in Egypt.
Events
We host an Annual Conference which is the premier Coptic advocacy event in the world. In 2016, CS inaugurated the annual Modern Coptic Martyrs Remembrance Day.
Partnership
Alliances are critical to our advocacy work and we regularly partner with the International Religious Freedom Roundtable as well as with likeminded NGOs on advocacy letters, campaigns, and work at the United Nations.
