Coptic Solidarity honors Alaa Abd El Fattah on the 10th anniversary of the Maspero Massacre, recognizing his advocacy for Coptic equality and friendship with martyr Mina Daniel. We have and will continue to advocate for his release from prison, where he has unjustly spent most of the last decade. Coptic Solidarity also thanks Alaa’s mother, Dr. Laila Soueif, for recording this video on his behalf for our virutal event. We stand with Dr. Soueif as she advocates for the release of her children, Alaa and Sanaa, and for improved human rights for all Egyptians.
