The Austrian President said he was glad to meet Pope Tawadros, despite what little knowledge he has of the Coptic Church, one of the most special foreign communities in Austria.
The President stressed the importance of activating a dialogue between religions and cultures, especially between Islam and Christianity, in order to spread peace throughout the world.
Pope Tawadros II expressed his sincere thanks to the President for meeting him in Austria. His Holiness pointed out that Austria is a model of coexistence between communities, where there is respect for religions and beliefs.
