Newly appointed prime minister of Egypt, Hisham Qandil, has designated a room next to his office in the ministerial council headquarters, to be a prayer room, where he can practice the religious ritual. The room has been evacuated and prepared for prayers, upon Qandil’s orders.

Since he was appointed as head of cabinet, Qandil leads the ministers and the headquarters’ senior officials during prayer time, in the new prayer room. Sources in the Ministerial headquarters have confirmed that the new prime minister is keen on doing his prayers on time.
