After repeated attempts and the submission of multiple formal requests to visit Said Mansour Abdelrazek, who has been detained since July 2025 pending investigation, his attorney, Mr. Said Fayez, was finally permitted to meet with him on Tuesday.

Following the visit, the attorney reported that Abdelrazek demonstrated a high degree of steadfastness and psychological stability. He noted that Abdelrazek was fully aware of the legal situation he is facing and expressed firm conviction that he bears the consequences of his choices and ideas with full awareness and confidence.

Regarding the conditions of his detention, Abdelrazek stated that his overall situation is stable. However, he emphasized his legitimate desire to be enabled to practice his religious rites, affirming his right to possess a Bible, attend Mass, and receive Communion—rights that are guaranteed by both the law and the Egyptian Constitution to detainees.

A formal request had previously been submitted to enable him to attend the Christmas Mass, but this request was not granted at the time.

Mr. Fayez confirmed his commitment to pursuing all necessary legal measures to safeguard Abdelrazek’s constitutional and human rights, foremost among them the right to practice religious rites and the right to communicate freely and effectively with his legal defense.
