Copt writer and intellectual Adel Guindy said that it is no exaggeration to postulate that “the Muslim Brotherhood’s Guidance Bureau will be now the de facto ruler of Egypt”.
Guindy asserts that this is especially true because “As of yesterday, Egypt has delved into a hard to probe, dark and bottomless tunnel, regardless of the hoax about Morsi’s resignation from the Brotherhood”.
Commenting on the President-Elect Mohamed Morsi’s speech yesterday, Adel Guindy, who also heads the Coptic Solidarity Organization, told MidEast Christian News “Morsi is in total harmony with himself. He is known to be a member of the ultra-conservative wing of the Muslim Brotherhood and his campaign platform revolved around the implementation of Islamic Sharia”.
“Few people might be aware that the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda for a political party, published in 2007, introduced a shocking mission statement prohibiting the appointment of either women or non-Muslims to all major posts in the country, and, Mohamed Morsi was one of the staunchest advocates of this statement,” added Guindy.
Guindy further stated “Throughout his journey to the top ranks of the Brotherhood and to the membership of the Guidance Bureau, Morsi was known for his unwavering commitment and total submission to the Supreme Guide’s instructions, and, for his overt disregard for the Brotherhood’s youths call for reform”.
